Installation

General Instructions
Spread the mixed adhesive on the surface to be tiled with a notched trowel large enough to give 100% coverage when tile is pressed into adhesive.

Surface Preparation and Use
Setting surfaces must be clean, sound and dry. Remove dust, laitance, grease, curing components, impregnators, waxes, foreign particles and disintegrated materials.

Mixing Instructions
Pre-mix each component. Mix "A" and "B" components thoroughly for 5 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the can to ensure thorough mixing. Incomplete mixing can result in uncured product. This could strain porous material like stone. Mixing may be accomplished by hand or by low speed (150 rpm) drill and paddle taking care not to generate excessive heat in the mix which will shorten open time. Mix only that quantity that can be used in that open time. When mixing less than full units; proportion ratio by weight of "A" and "B" component.

Temperature Dependency
At recommended temperatures 70° to 80°F, Touchstone Duropoxi is a smooth, buttery paste that is easy to work; the normal working life is 2 hours. At temperatures from 80° to 90°F the working life is reduces and may be set sooner. At temperatures from 60° to 70°F it becomes harder to spread and curing time is lengthened. Touchstone Duropoxi should be removed from mixing container immediately after mixing and spread onto working surface. Once the material begins to set, it should be discarded as proper bonding will not be accomplished.

Coverage
30 square feet per gallon when applied at 50 mils
