Stone that is selected, trimmed, or cut to desired shapes and/or sizes for such uses as building
stone, markers, paving blocks, flagging, or curbing is termed dimensional stone. Surface finish of the stone can be honed, polished, flamed, bush-hammered, and sand-blasted.
