Q: What is the coldest temperature Last Patch will work in and what will the grind time be?
A: Last Patch will cure down to 40 degrees F. However, you will need to add accelerator to the mixture. At that temperature, grind times should be an hour or less with the addition of accelerator.

Q: Is Last Patch waterproof?
A: Yes, Last Patch is waterproof after it is fully cured.

Q: What is the best material to sand/grind Last Patch Flowing?
A: A pumice block can be used or 80-120 grit flap disk (hand grinder).

Q: What epoxies can I use for Limestone and Granite that do not bleed or stain?
A: The Bonstone Line - Fast Set, Match and Anchor will not bleed. However, epoxies will have a wetting-out look, which can be sanded off.

Q: What is the best adhesive for bonding a limestone cap to the top of a brick wall?
A: Fast Set Extreme cartridge will provide a permanate bond. It comes in a single component cartridge which will fit in a standard caulk gun.

Q: How do I repair a 1/2 inch long scratch in my granite countertop?
A: If it is a deep scratch, use the Chip and Fill Kit. If it is a fine scratch, you could use the Stone Enhancer.

Q: What adhesive is best to use to bond polystyrene insulation board to concrete blocks?
A: The best adhesive would be T-2000. It can be applied with a trowel and it has a hour open time. It is also non-sag.

Q: Would T-2000 be appropriate to install ceramic tile over vinyl sheet flooring?
A: Yes, T-2000 has been used in that application before. It is important that the floor and the vinyl are sound. T-2000 will adhere to the vinyl.

Q: What epoxy can I apply through a hole drilled in the hollow spots in my travertine floor?
A: If the tile rocks back and forth, Penetrating Epoxy will work for that application. The epoxy can be put in a syringe and then injected. Drilling a hole in the tile is common practice for loose tile.

Q: What product can be used to repair concrete failures (spalding and erosion)?
A: Bonstone 456 is used for concrete repair.

Q: What product should I use to to keep steel inserted into a slot in the floor from coming out?
A: Our Bonstone 404NS and 414 are structural adhesives you could use.

Q: Do you have a product which is similar to T-2000, but the mix ratio is 1:1 and white after mixing?
A: Yes, Boncrete 636.

Q: Why and when does Granite have to be laminated?
A: Granite is laminated to acheive a thicker looking slab. A fabrication shop will laminate two 2 cm pieces together to make it look like a large edge. The edge is usually the only part laminated. Granite does not have to be laminated.

Q: Can Granite countertops and shower walls be refinished to eliminate scratches?
A: The most effective way to eliminate scratches is to have the items repolished with diamond pads.
