Sealing Granite
Water is stone's enemy. Erosion, freeze thaw and continuous exposure to moisture can be
detrimental to the integrity of the stone. Applying a water repellant/surface protectant will
greatly improve the stone's ability to resist the forces that would soil, stain or spall it. Using a
surface protectant will greatly reduce the need for aggressive cleaning products or procedures
that may do irreparable harm to the stone's surface.
The water repellant/surface protectants available to you through Bonstone Materials
Corporation are non-film forming and breathable. The application of these products will not
alter the surface color, profile or sheen.
